Three new books that have recently arrived at our home: two fully authored by the couple behind SHAmory—"Goodnight Bitcoin" + "If You Give a Monster a Bitcoin"—and the latest one, created in collaboration with Tomer Strolight—"Satoshi Nakamoto and His Bitcoin Invention". Each one is full of charming illustrations that spark the imagination, and simple but engaging content that’s perfect for toddlers and older kids.
The first two are thick-paged board books, light on text yet filled with visuals, making them perfect for very young kiddos. One explores the creation of Bitcoin through the adventures of Satoshi and Hal—two lovable monsters in the story. The other book covers simply explained technicalities, from how to handle a Bitcoin stack to how to keep it safe. Both are fun and insightful!
The third book is especially great for older children, presenting the story of Bitcoin in a compelling and relatable way, using analogies to inventions like the wheel.
In our humble opinion, all three deserve your attention. We’re personally hooked on the SHAmory monsters and the delightful stories they bring!

"Once the monsters have a bitcoin, they will wonder what to do.
They may put it in a bank,
but to that you'll say, "Don't you!"
(...)
You see, if you give the monsters a bitcoin,
the world will be a better place,
because bitcoin is for all people, not a single gender or race!"

"Satoshi was a special type of hero.
He was a hero who gave the world a gift. He made something that was very hard to make. He didn't ask for anything in return. He didn't ask to be paid. He didn't ask to be famous. He didn't ask to be powerful. He just gave the word his gift. And walked away."
